I hate to overtly push TPR (http://www.teamprimerib.com/) onto other
people, but we have some excellent resources available that are kinda
related to what you want to do, and you don't need to be a member to
take advantage of them...

We have a forum with over 2850+ messages, all searchable... It is like a
giant FAQ, on steroids... We're currently looking for a better way to
search through it, though... The current search mechanism is a bit
quirky...

We have a 24x7 chat room manned by friendly, knowledgable and semi-sober
volunteers...

http://www.teamprimerib.com/chat.html

We have stats and graphs for *everyone* in the top 500...

TPR is all about making new friends and having fun...

We were recently attacked in a very subversive and malicious way via a
PrimeNet loophole... Instead of demoralizing the team it only
strengthened our resolve... It was especially nice to have assistance
and support from non-TPR members, and that just shows what a class act
the whole GIMPS project is...

Thanks!

Mike (Xyzzy)
