Hello Andy,
do you have a screenshot handy? I get maybe the same artifacts on
Unigine Valley (in the trees?) on my RX580 but without _this_ patch
applied. I have other 'new' one from 'Patchwork Mesa' in.
Valley, is normally OK for me. Tricky to get a screen shot as the
artifacts are single frame flashes
Have you tried this way:
1. Run 'valley'
2. Hit 1 or 2 times 'F4'
3. Move with 'w' (forward), 's' (backward), 'a' (left), 'd' (right) or
'e' (jump) --- like the legend in the below right corner (you can speed
up with holding 'shift')
- though they do repeat. Other scenes
seem to have less noticeable ones than this from scene 2.
Ignore image quality - this is a shot from a paused x11grab h264
ultrafast preset compressed video made with ffmpeg.

I do NOT see such (huge) corruption on RX580.
LLVM git #7c44c2a308c
@Marek:
R600_DEBUG=noce
do NOT help
Now, I'll try with revert.
Didn't change anything.
But it seems to me that _I_ do NOT see any corruption on RX580 with
'valley' at all.
When I set it to 'ultra' and anti-aliasing 'x8' (HD resolution) my
'flickering' texture parts disappear.
It should look like it is.
Have to investigate further...
Cheers,
Dieter
