I'm really struggling to see how this is our problem when we've got not just a compile-time flag (--with-dri-driverdir) but also a run-time environment variable (LIBGL_DRIVERS_PATH) to configure this. I'd like to close as NOTOURBUG, but I'd like to make sure that nobody else wants to follow up on this.
