yes, with the older LTIB image everything works fine. We use the following
kernel version for this image

There are 2 LVDS ports on mx6qsabresd, aren't you physically
connecting to the wrong port?
the LVDS display is connected to LVDS0, and I use the same video option for the
older LTIB image:
Kernel command line: console=ttymxc0,115200 root=/dev/mmcblk1p1 rootwait rw
video=mxcfb0:dev=ldb,LDB-XGA,if=RGB666
