It worked out of the box for me, apart from pcl-ros, needed to upgrade that to 1.1.7. Freenect-stack is now building correctly on my branch, see https://github.com/KristofRobot/meta-ros/tree/freenect-stack It seems to run correctly as well. I'll still do some more extensive real-world testing on my robot, but that requires some additional packages which are not in meta-ros yet (i.e. robot-state-publisher, ros-arduino-bridge).
