The first public beta test release of an FTP client using the new socket features of MetaCard 2.3 is now available as: ftp://ftp.metacard.com/MetaCard/2.3/ftp-q_b8.mc We encourage everyone to use the tool as is and to submit bug reports and suggestions for how to improve it. More importantly, like mchttpd (the MetaCard HTTP server), the scripts in this stack are free for you to use in your own applications and to modify to suit your needs. They also serve as a good general example of how to use sockets in MetaTalk.
