Hello.

A win-standalone that opened fine the first time after it was created
now continually
crashes, with a Windows "illegal operation" message popping up between
the time of the mainstack (a splashcreen, that opens "fine") and the
substack. Odder yet, that same standalone opens on another pc, as does
its mac-version (of course).

As per recent discussion, I tried restarting the computer and even used
Windows "Scan Disk" to check for disk errors. No luck. Is this a bug,
then? With Windows or (less likely) MC? And, if so, any solutions or
workarounds (short of putting
the original non-standalone stack and a demo copy of mc itself on a
cd-rom ;-)

(One final note: my hunch continues that the player object is behind
it, despite my goofy scripting skills.)

Uncheerfully.
