i can't shed any light on this, except to say that it CAN work; i have an application
that
increases the size of subviews and the number of records with subviews without error.
i use MK
2.4.9.2 with C++.
actually, i have just changed my app to not use subviews, because if there are many
records (tens
of thousands) with one subview it can get very slow and memory hungry doing subview
setup when the
view is first accessed.
