I would like to use libmetalink in the next version of the metalink
generator. Currently aria2c isn't using it because it's not packaged
(I've filed a bug for aria2c[1] not using it and that was the response
from Tatsuhiro).

So it's a bit of a dual thing going on there, but as soon as I have
metalink through REVU[2] I'll start working metalink and libmetalink
together into one. I've just added libmetalink to my PPA[3] so that is a
place to get preliminary builds for the different architectures.

After that I was thinking about packaging metalink-creator and working
on getting the mini-downloader to work on linux with libmetalink.

PS I would agree with anybody who would say that programs need to depend
on it before it can be included. But the dependent packages will come ;)
