Hi Jeff, 400 grit is ok for Gibeon but do not dilute the RS etchant! To minimize the hazing you should go a little finer than 400, if you have a bench grinder go spend about $10 & get a buffing wheel & some black polishing compound at your local Ace hardware. Remember to polish from the center of the slice out & stay away from the edges for your safety & so that you do not "roll" the crisp edge over. You can do this on Gibeon because of the tight crystal pattern but polish lightly only to take the "edge" off of the sanding scratches.
