Hi,
It’s my understanding that the collateral disseminated indicated the lunar you saw in Tucson was “One of the largest” — which is most certainly is: it’s the second largest. The largest is NWA 12760 which is just two+ pounds heavier and which also part of the Maine Mineral & Gem Museum’s collection and is on display in Bethel. Thanks and wishing everyone a great weekend / Darryl > On Feb 20, 2025, at 7:14 PM, Alfredo Petrov via Meteorite-list > <[email protected]> wrote: > > Last Weekend at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show there was a 56.75 Kg(!) lunar > on exhibit which belongs to the Maine Mineral and Gem Museum, in Bethel, > Maine.
