I've finishing a very interesting study on meteorite recovery which is heavily statistics oriented. However, I may have flaws in my assumptions and data sets.
I recall that my college stat professor drilled into us, that when you have a serious stat problem, go find a real statistician. So hence the request. While I could easily tap into my local world-class university math department, I believe it would be best to tap a statistician who already understands the nature of meteorites.
