I would start with BL21(DE3), which is missing some proteases which may help with protein stability. JM109 and DH5a are primarily for cloning although they would likely work too. If you have them on hand, I like the BL21(DE3) derivatives which have a plasmid encoding rare tRNAs, like Codon Plus or Origami.
