Dear Sudheer, possibly Cu2O (judged by colour). Possibly by reaction of BME, cysteines oder oxidized sugar side chains or glycerol (aldehydes!) with Cu(2+). As you seem to loose all your protein, most probably polymerization (cysteines -> intermoleular bridges) has occurred.
What is the purpose of this experiment? HTH Wolfgang On 20 Apr., 12:19, sudheer babu <[email protected]> wrote: > Dear all > I added Copper to my protein sample.
