Dear Jayanta, I have no idea at all. But why not simply try it on eg protoblasts or what you can get hold of? Shouldn't take too much resources, as PEI (get the right one, it's crucial) is cheap and you may do the experiment together with some other transfections. Use a simple to observe reporter gene and go ahead!
