I run all my code through a VB program to clean it up. That is
because I am not smart enough to get the post to do it. My daughter was in
college and I got an academic version of VB for about $100.00. I messed with
it and joined a VB list and read all the posts. I am not very good at it
but, it works for what I needed. I also did a couple of small database
programs to keep track of the parts programs. It looks like almost every
program is going to some kind of VB in the back ground. I think this is the
up and coming language to learn.

I have a post in SmartCam for our waterjet that outputs an ASCI file
that needs more done to it after coding (an external utility). Our
machine is a format of LPT code that needs a header and on and off codes
changed from the post we have. The header is made from formulas that
when output are the feed rates. Has anyone ever made utilities to do
this and if so where could I get one custom made?
