Hi all,
I have a series of ctk panels that access macro commands through
action buttons. These macro commands program various types of holes, such
as: Spot-Drill-Tap, Spot-Drill-Bore, etc. These panels and macros have
worked fine since their inception.
I had to produce a whole new set of panels for metric workpieces. I
felt that the easiest way to do this was to open the panels in CTK and do a
save-as and give it a metric designation, then go through each action
button, rename it, and point it to the equivalent metric macro. Saves a lot
of time, right? Well it worked fine for the new metric panels, but here's
the stumper: Every original panel that I did a save-as to now shows the
metric panel when in Smartcam, not the original. When I open the original
panel in CTK, it still shows the original panels! I double-checked the .ini
file [UserMenu] and everything is correct; separate lines for the original
and for the metric panels. What you access in Smartcam is NOT the same as
what you open in CTK. It's as if some sort of association was made in the
panels when I did the save-as (bug?).
I'll head off the simple questions:
Yes, I closed and re-opened Smartcam after every .ini file change.
I double and triple checked all pertinent paths and file names.
I tried renaming the .pcb files and changing the .ini [UserMenu]
definitions to match.Nothing works. I am stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chris (See attached file: Pcb Stumper.ZIP)
