John, Here's a macro I use that will put everything it can on the XZ, then YZ, and finally XY workplanes. I then kill the workplanes the manual way. I haven't figured out how to do it in the macro. Also if the file is big (lots of surfaces, it helps to zoom in for all the redraws it does.)
