Only 5 fxd sections
Op section for every operation

Exe. Spot drill , reamers , counter bores , counter sinks and milling cutters all use one fxd section
@op sections allow you to have each of those tools use different code as needed without having to build logic into the template. They will use their @op section. Each tool looks for the @op section first and if none exist it will use the @fxd section.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [mfg-smartcam] @FXD @OP_DRL @COOLNT

Hi guys,

What is the difference between using the 'old' @FXD1 etc. drilling sections and the 'new' @OP_DRL sections?

Also, trying to use the @COOLNT section to output flood, thro or air coolant always returns the value of 4 regardless of what I've chosen in the planner! Any ideas? Perhaps somebody could send me an example from their working template file.

Regards,
