Swanchetan Society for Mental Health is a non profit, non governmental apolitical and secular Organization that is engaged in support and research activities with victims of torture oppression and violence. Swanchetan is conducting psycho social studies and researches on effects of trauma on individual, large groups and whole population. The studies will lead toward deeper understanding of violence in India for policy making and prevention of all kind of victimization of individual and marginalized communities. Those desirous of working as part of the multi disciplinary team of professionals team from social sciences only need apply. We are looking for a person with a Post graduate degree in Social Science with a good academic record and atleast 5 yrs experience of working with right based issues in a reputed Organization. The selected candidate would be required to work as part of the team, to work with victims of major social issues that has affected countless people all over our country. They will be required to work with large groups and communities and for developing tool and mechanism for preventive violence, policy formulation for rehabilitation leading towards deeper understanding of the contextual factors that result in violence.
