*November 3, 2010* *RAJKOT:* Two mentally unsound women succumbed to suicide bids in separate incidents in the city on Saturday evening, police said.
Reva Ganatra, 62, a resident of Prahalad plot area, set herself on fire at her house in the evening and died soon after. A-Division police station officials, who are investigating the case, said Ganatra killed herself as she was unable to bear her mental illness. In a similar case, Geeta Chauhan, 36, a resident of Kiran Society on Kothariya road here, succumbed to burns on Saturday evening. She had tried to kill herself on October 29 and was under treatment. Police said, Chauhan was suffering from depression and took this extreme step.
