The amendments are very cleverly loaded in favour of the existing people which is controlling the Trust as the new registration under the new act does NOT include those whose organisations registered under the PWDEA act 1995. Does every autistic child or child having cerebral palsy require "high support' which the new amendment assumes. It is not very clear how the "High support" will be decided and by whom. I have put the following comments in its web page with kind regards. * """Please refer Chapter I Section 2 (e)" High support". and also 2(i) The persons with disability is defined as those persons with disability who require "high support" Who will decide and how it will be decided that a person with disability requires "High support"? Who will constitute this committee? Who will be members of this committee? Every person with "Autism" " Cerebral policy" does not need High support. As the original National trust constituted under the act of 1998 included ALL persons with Autism and Cerebral policy, how this distinction will be made? Please ref 8(A) technical advisory committee?. Will this committee define " high support needs"? As the present National Trust committee has members who were registered with it after it was formed in 1998, it naturally has members from only those disabilities to which it catered originally. But now with inclusion of ALL DISABILITIES with HIGH SUPPORT NEEDS, the registration process should be given more time for other disabilities to register with the trust.all trusts registered with government under persons with Disabilities act 1995 also should become automatically be part of the National trust . IN CATERING TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES WITH HIGH SUPPORT NEEDS PRIORITY SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THOSE ORGANISATIONS WHICH CATER TO THOSE PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES WHO ARE ORPHANED ESPECIALLY WOMEN."""" * "Greatness lies not in never falling but in rising everytime we fall" *Captain Johann samuhanand,** BANGALORE INDIA* *91 80 42023252 * *www.captainjohann.blogspot.com* ------------------------------ *From:* Vaishnavi Jayakumar <[email protected]> *To:* [email protected]; MHA digest < [email protected]>; whats-disabling < [email protected]>; nami india <[email protected]>; [email protected] *Sent:* Friday, 5 August 2011 8:46 PM *Subject:* [namiindia] Fwd: Amendment to National Trust Act.. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: *Zamir Dhale* <[email protected]> Date: 2 August 2011 15:01 Subject: Amendment to National Trust Act.. ** Dear all, Hope this finds you in good health and spirit!
