*VISAKHAPATNAM* : A woman, who was reportedly suffering from mental illness, created a flutter at Jagadamba junction on Saturday as she was carrying an injection syringe and some drugs. The woman was travelling in a ‘share' auto, and two other women co-passengers who found she was carrying the drugs and syringe suspected that she was planning to rob them of their valuables after drugging them. The strange behaviour of the ‘mentally challenged' woman must have added to the confusion. The auto was stopped for sometime and an argument followed after which the women passengers handed her over to the Two Town Police. Investigation revealed that the woman is suffering from some mental illness and is carrying the drugs prescribed at the King George Hospital. The co-passengers mistook her for a thief and brought her here”, said Inspector T. Mohan Rao. The woman was taken home by her husband. http://www.thehindu.com/todays-paper/tp-national/tp-andhrapradesh/article2959887.ece -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Mental Health Advocacy (News 'N Views) India" group.
