Hi all, Holmes was charged with "man slaughter". His mother was the only one supporting him because she knew the "truth" that he was talking to a Psychiatrist and was also taking treatment. But American system gives "rights" but also fixes "responsibility". It shows no mercy because he is schizophrrenic or Bipolar or Mentally ill. I remember a schizophrenic(US citizen) who was hearing Jesus talking to him and asking him to kill his brother and so he killed him. But he was given electric chair and the American judge was ruthless and also their system. Almost same year I remember a village boy of India who was getting treatment from NIMHANS was sitting on a tree and cutting the root. When his father asked him to stop as it will injure him, the Mentally ill came down and killed his father as well as his brother who came to save his father.This boy was acquitted of murder charges and was hospitalized on the basis of NIMHANS Psychiatrist's testimony .that is India this Holmes trial has no relevance to India except those who are academic.
