Have the following information ready: o The name of the video card and the chip set. This can usually be found printed on the card somewhere. o How much memory on the video card. o Your monitor manufacturer and brand name. The vertical and horizontal synch rates. I have run xf86config many hundreds of times, and by now I am intimately familiar with it. If you can't get it to work, bring it to the installfest on sunday afternoon and I will help you.
