Tomorrow night we're going to try something new, which is a live stream
of the MHVLUG meeting on ustream. Consider this very experimental at
this point.
The intent here is to be able to include a larger portion of our MHVLUG
community in the meetings, including the ones that have moved far away.
The ustream channel will be running during the meeting, starting as
soon as I manage to get the thing connected prior to the meeting.
I'd like to provide streaming meetings as an option this year to
speakers that want it. There will be no pressure there, and it will
always remain speaker option on whether they want things broadcast.
For those who can't make it there physically,
http://www.ustream.tv/channel/mhvlug is the location for the stream.
I'd definitely be interested in feedback from folks after the meeting on
how this experiment worked out.

That's Fantastic!!!! Our church started live streaming this summer and
already we get emails from all over the world. One Snowy Sunday we think
we had more people watching on the internet then came to church. Watch,
we will start seeing out of area people subscribing to the list!!!!!
Any picture and sound at all will do for a starter, it can be fine tuned
later.
