This is a reaction to the survey results. I started a new thread to
avoid thread stealing and getting the different reactions all garbled
up in one thread. I might suggest that others responding to the
survey start new threads to prevent confusion.

Great job!!!!!!!

But I think that we are missing the casual user. Now that Ubuntu is
about as easy to use as Windows, we need to look for ways to service
the non code proficient user without boring the daylights out of our
core constituency.

The sort of topics that these potential members would probably be
interested in are things like configuring gstream, fully uexploiting
the features of programs like Open Office and the Gimp, doing an
initial install, etc.

Our current constituency obviously doesn't want to sit through two
hours of the basics of an Open Office Spreadsheet, but the colleges in
our area are still focused on proprietary Products and the Open source
software does work differently.

How can we do this?
