David,

While we're talking about making WordPress Themes, make sure you know about Artisteer.

That program has some limits on what sort of design it can produce, but you might find it a useful tool or competitive against you, depending on how you think about it.

Hey guys,I was thinking about getting into the worpress themeing bussiness. I have a decent amount of experience with it and I want to start creating some of my own themes and try to sell them. I have some questions before I approach this.

* Does anyone/know of anyone who currently does this, if so how have they been successful selling their themes ?

* What are some things I should watch out for?

*How does one maintain a solid revenue stream from selling wordpress themes?

*Who should be your target audience?

*What the extent of complexity should one put in a theme?

Thanks,

any other input is welcomed as always
