I understand.

If I remember correctly the inverter for the T20 was $80 + $5 shipping, and 
the backlight was something like $15 + $8 shipping; a new LCD panel from eBay 
was about $230 + shipping.  Thus buying the LCD panel would have been a little 
over twice the price.

Hopefully you can find images for how to disassemble your particular laptop to 
remove the LCD panel.  Instructions for replacing the CCFL in the LCD panel 
are available separately.
