Did you search: > draftsight ubuntu "64-bit"? I will look at that shortly - I'm beat at present having just tried to watch two parts of a "How to LibreCAD" YouTube presentation that I am now trying to purge from mymemory ;-) At the moment, it's hard to remember just what all I have tried, but I will definitely go through this a little later. (Frankly, LC looks a lot like what DS gave me so it may be perfectly fine, assuming I can get a little leg-up tutorial that works - I may have found it in a pretty good-looking PDF, but the WiKi is USELESS! - Yeah, I know ... "Participate!!" I may just have to do that, once I get some time on this. I DO love to write!) One of the "attractive" items with DS was a wonderful, 140+ page tutorial that walked you through everything. I'm old enough to need that now ;-) JC -- Google Voice: (914) 468-4552 ---------------------------------------- Prov. 12:15 Eschew obfuscation and pompous prolixity.
