Hello guys,
as some may have read I've got problems to connect to a new provider.
The modem-manual said I could try to set down the time (in mseconds) used by
the modem to answer the incoming signal. As that might be a reason for my
problem, I tried to set it from 6 (=60 mseconds, default) down to 1.
Although I save the new settings, everytime I start Miami or MiamiDX, I get
the message "resetting the modem" which obviously changes the settings back
to default settings.
Can I prevent this somehow?
(And before someone asks, I write back the changed settings via at&w and
resetted the modem via atz! so it should work. And it shows the changed
settings as long as I don't start Miami(dx)).
