So, is there anything I need to know to get it running on my machine?
Any special hacks or funky adjustments I have to do to Miami?

So, which package are you using now? Is it one that supports multiple
mailboxes?

I guess I'd just assumed SMTPd operated through the POP3 server. :-/
Speaking of POP3 programs for the Amiga... is anyone working on a newer,
fancier one?
The truth is, all the POP3 programs I've seen seem to date from before
Miami came upon the scene, and don't seem all that sophisticated. In
fact, it would be nice if there was a complete suite that handled both
incoming and outgoing messages automatically, and also which shoved the
incoming messages into whatever local mailboxes they're aimed at.
I like the way AmiPOP's interface works, the way it shows how far along
you are in collecting the messages, the way it gives you a button to
click on to "Check Now" when you don't want to wait for it to poll
automatically. But I don't like the fact that AmiPOP forces everything
into one local mailbox.
And what IS the best way to send the outgoing mails out? I'm having
intermittent problems with uucp2smtp where it "loses" the first part
of mails occasionally, and it seems to be an incompatibility with my
particular settup.
