Hm, I'm not sure. They work together in some ways. I'm not exactly
sure how Samba handles printing but my guess would be that the
printerdriver installed on the server is by no means insignificiant.

Not here unfortunately. Then again, I'm using Turboprint and a
Canon-printer.
