I have no Ram within the this limit at all. The GVP G-Force uses 32bit
memory out of this limit. I assume the G-Force is causing the troubles
with the X-Surf. Everything on the SCSI-bus, the scanner, the streamer,
the CD-Rom, external HDDs, in the Zorro-slots the MFCIII and the
PiccoloSD64 is working well. Moving everything out of the A2k, just
leaving the G-Force, the X-surf wont work correctly. Together with the
A2630 in another A2k the thing works flawless.
Maybe I should try it with a GURU-Rom.
If the the X-Surf is having troubles with the G-Force, its not
useable for me. I dont want to miss this accelerator with its 32MB
Ram. Maybe the X-surf was never tested for the use together with a
G-Force (this card is know to cause timing-troubles sometimes), but I
have no problems with it, just with the X-surf.
I wrote to Jens Schnfeld about this, but have no answer jet.
All in all I have a nice system here and it would be great I could
bring it into a LAN.
I could cry when I think about that the Amiga went down because of
wrong managment and the lack of professional software (we would have
needed some more Kruses).
