I've seen this happen when the ISP adds a new bank of modems
into their dial-in racks. Typically new modem banks are tied
into a new server which is misconfigured and causes the problem
you are seeing. You can do one of two things:
1) Dial in and when you get the error, call your ISP's
technical support line and tell them they have a reverse
DNS problem. They'll usually ask for your user ID and can
track down the problem by tracing your ID to your connection.
Obviously, you need two phone lines for this.
2) There's a button in the Miami config (in the GUI section,
I think) called "Show requesters for protocol errors".
Shut that off.
