I'm sure he means "internal" as in the Amiga's own serial port, and
"external" as in you've got an extra card for serial ports. Though some
Amiga's do have an internal connector, for the serial port, this is just
an alternative socket, that's connected directly to the same 25 pin
socket on the motherboard.

I don't think you can specify what screen a ClassAct program opens on,
unless the program has it's own "open on own screen" option (rather than
open on the current default screen, whichever screen that may be).

Which version are you using? I'm sure that I've tried using Miami in
all the GUI variations (MUI, ClassAct, and GadTools), and was able to
switch between each one freely.

You can download them all, any time you like, as many times as you like
(for if you need to fix it up, it doesn't mean you can buy one copy and
install it on ten computers). You're only being asked to register the
Miami program, you can have all three GUIs installed.
