I tried setting up a a serial link to my linux-box using a
nullmodem-cable and cslip-dialout on MiamiDx-side and a so called
dip.script and dip on linux-side, with some strange effects.
I started the dip.script on linux-box and the Miami-link with
waitppp in the dialer. After sending a break in the dialwindow of
Miami I get the following:

After that I can do ls -l or cd .. or whatever. I fear I don�t
understand what is going on! Is this some kind of telnet-connection?
All this is happening in the dialwindow of MiamiDx.
It seems to me I�m moving in the linux-box but cannot download any
file or something else. The connection times out after 20 seconds or
so... I don�t know why.
I never used telnet before. Who can give me a simple commandline to
use telnet for testing?
I tried it with 'miamitelnet localhost' after starting miamitelnetd
and the telnetwindow opens, but it tries to connect to the last
temporary IP used to connect to my ISP..?
