Requires two ethernet cards in the Amiga dosen't it? Another card for the
Amiga would cost nearly twice as much as the broadband router! Also the
annoyance of having to obtain more cat5 to run back downstairs from the
Amiga to connect the PC.
I don't understand how there could be slowdown problems with the two
hardware based solutions I mentioned. I am specifically avoiding loading
the PC with another Ethernet card to avoid slowdowns on it, as it is only
233Mhz Pentium. If I decide to buy the additional IP, I was just planning
to use a cheap hub, as there isn't likely to be much traffic between the two
machines.
