you rule! that was it. I actually had two t-connectors and two terminators (came
with the APNET pcmcia card(s) I have on other Amigas) and put them on and bingo!
Thanks. It's those little successes with computers that (almost) make up for the
constant failures.

Hi, Kevin ...
IS the cable terminated on each end (T-connector and
resistor-in-plug or terminating T) -- even if the
cable is only a foot long?
