I can think of two reasons for it.
Since Amster's used for sharing files that often aren't meant to be
shared, it could be someone who's got a vendetta against the service, and
will attempt to bring it to a halt.
Or, someone trying to test the abilities of one source (you) against
another, before they start leaching files.
I tend to think it's probably the first.
