Assumes that the Miata hard line is standard/US and not metric size. I believe I ran into this problem trying to do the same thing on a FD RX-7. Better double-check the OD/ID measurements on it. You also have to cut off the bead which sort of wigged me out. How to cut it effectively without generating sparks (hacksaw?).
