As Randy pointed out, that is probably .5mm or .020". We bore 2mm
oversize on a regular basis on our strokers. A customer in FL is at 880
RWHP with the stroker, so I think it's safe ;-)

Subject: oversize boring

Hi,

it looks like my 95 motor was bored to 0.50 over because that number is
stamped on the pistons. Wouldnt that be alot to bore coming from a
stock block? If the cylinders are indeed .50 over, that block is
probably not a good candidate for machining, right?

tia,
peter

btw, i removed the crank/timing gear key by clamping vise grips onto the
side of the key and levering it out
