Absolutely. The county hospitals regularly receive patients without  
coverage who have been stabilized at other hospitals and then transported, at  
taxpayer expense, to the county hospital where the taxpayer funded "unfunded  
care" account pays for their care. 



So, is this the "right" thing to do?  Transporting a patient from one  
hospital to another?
