What Sam said. Plus, what is the display showing when it's bucking? IOW,
if it's reading 14/1 and it's bucking, you may not have the link
programmed correctly.

Did you change the targets?  The instructions for the AEM have you do
this, along with a couple of other changes.  I would expect this to
apply to the LC-1 as well.
