Hey all, good news. It started!
I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised that there are a few issues after
sitting for 30+ months.
The engine spun pretty easily after some gentle persuasion and MMO in
each cylinder. I pulled the starter and had to clean all of the
terminals to get it to come to life. Between the weak battery and
corroded terminals, there was no way the starter was getting enough juice.
Oddly enough. the battery was just alive enough to run the dash lights
and send a little juice to the starter, but not enough to take any
charge from my battery charger. I wasn't even able to use the charger
as a "starter boost". I stole the battery out of my wife's 92, and it
started as soon as I hit the key.
Now all I need is a battery, a brake caliper and some general
cleaning/tidying, and it'll be back on the road!

yeah - ditto on asking people to check in on you. My neighbor was
trapped under his truck for probably 5 hours until his wife checked
on him. He was gone long before that.

All that mentioned and the buddy system. Don't get in a dangerous
situation alone. At least ask a neighbor to check on you if you are
alone.
Call a buddy and say "If I don't call you back in 30 minutes then
come check on me." Something like that.
