This car was never FI. This is the original engine. I thought that a leaky valve stem seal could be diagnosed by high vacuum.. Basically wind the engine out in 1ast gear, take the foot off the gas for a few seconds to create high vacuum, then get back on the throttle, and watch for smoke.
