I will never have to replace than damn power window switch again. I've converted the switching system in my Miata to use relays so that the switch won't degrade from all the current going through it.
It all neatly fits inside the center console, and while you modify your existing switch, you can easily revert to the original setup if you purchase a new one. Basically, as long as your switches function at all (even if the windows are very slow, etc), this mod could be for you! I took lots of pictures and took notes. I will be posting a writeup as soon as I get it all put together. Now, my windows as FAST and SMOOTH! W00t!
