I think this is true for ever surplus worker.
it comes with the job.

1) you have everybody trying to haggle with you and you might not think it's 
that big a deal when it's just you but times that by 20 - 50 people and it 
just get annoying.
2) everybody think since you are selling it you know how it works, and 
expecially with computers.
3) everything sold is as-is and when it dont work people get mad and want to 
return it.
4) everybody wants something from you, which most of the time you can not 
provide.
5) everyone wants to haggle. yes I know I said it before!

I dont work in the surplus here at LCC but I work in the same division and 
building so I get to hear the woo's of the job weekly.

I do agree there is no need for the attitude, but I understand where it 
comes from.
