My one visit to UM surplus was last fall. All PowerMacs, nothing older. Most seemed overpriced, and most had NO HARD DRIVES. Take your own PPC boot floppy! I bought an 8100 for $25. That may have been a mistake, as I've had lots of start-up failures with it. I have not used it much as a result. I've had it all apart twice checking connections. Pram battery measures 3.65 volts. Video card is firmly seated. I took out half the RAM. No improvement. start-up circuit or power supply problem? Larry bought a Lemon?
