Hello! I'm an ubuntu user. At this moment I have the Intrepid release, with libv4l 0.5.8.
I installed the microdia driver following the instructions in: http://groups.google.com/group/microdia/web/testing-microdia-driver-draft The driver installs and the webcam is recognized; dmesg says: [19187.601824] sn9c20x: SN9C20X USB 2.0 Webcam - 0C45:6270 plugged-in. [19187.669014] sn9c20x: I2C slave 0x5d returned error during write to address 0xff [19187.821957] sn9c20x: Detected MT9V111 Sensor. I've only one doubt: the laptop which I use has got USB 1.1. Will I have to compile the microdia driver with some particular option? Thanks.
